I write because there is so much to be said about so very many things.

 

Once considered a hobby, my writing evolved from an outlet of personal expression to professional writing assignments. Digging for insightful meaning in the form of words is not always easy. Do I obsess about the quality of my work? Perhaps. But the best part is that I can raise a family and do a little bit of something I love.

 

I will be the first to tell you that it takes willpower to meet deadlines and juggle editorial calendars while coming up with fresh ideas AND promising to be front and center at every school event. 

 

Have I cracked the code of parenting? Am I fluent in motherhood? Probably not, but just like all moms, I, too try and fast track trade negotiations for who empties the dishwasher and who mops the kitchen floor. 

 

I am fearlessly honest and humble about my job as a parent. Once I was able to admit to myself and others that I was completely imperfect, I found that I had so much to say.  So, here I am, sharing my stories~nice to meet you!
